I recently asked my Dad what Bible Memory verse stood out in his mind and here are his thoughts:

“Do you remember when your Mom had the terrible back pain?  It was an intense time.  She and I read the Bible together everyday.  On a particularly bad day, your Mom is laying on the floor in excruciating pain.  We are “looking up to see bottom” and here is what we read that day:

“Listen to me O’ house of Jacob, all you who remain in the house of Israel you whom I have upheld since your were conceived and have carried since your birth. Even to your old age and gray hairs, I am He I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you. I will sustain you and I will rescue you. To whom will you compare Me or count me equal? To whom will you liken Me that we may be compared?”     Isa 46:3-5

God was saying to me,,’Hey relax,, who do you think you are,,, who do you think I am? I am in control of this situation.  Trust Me.’  ”

If you would like to share a favorite Bible memory verse, please leave a comment.
